Chapter 53 The branch sets sail

Calagua Island.

"Boss, this is the latest information fed back by Yang Mengjiao." Feili handed him a thick document.

Li Qingye looked through it carefully.

At the end of February, the Qingye Group (Hongsawady branch) led by Ma Chi, Liu Zhifan, and Yang Mengjiao successively went to Yangon City in Hongsawady through various channels.

After more than two months of hard work, we first set up a branch in Yangon City, and then went to Tanintharyi Province on the southernmost side of Hongsawady to start investment and construction.

The current headquarters is located in Dawei District, the capital of Tanintharyi Province, and several small islands have been purchased in the area.

And Yang Mengjiao has successfully managed the local black and white affairs. This small place is indeed very easy to penetrate.

Now the task of the second branch is to continue the development for a period of time, build the glass and cement industry of Qingye Group, and at the same time increase the penetration of Hongsha Wadi.

In Dawei District at this time.

Qingye Group, which directly acquired a large number of buildings, used one of the five-story buildings as a temporary headquarters building.

In the internal division of labor, Liu Zhifan is responsible for business and part of internal management, Ma Chi is responsible for technology and part of internal management, and Yang Mengjiao is responsible for internal supervision and cooperating with the security department's infiltration work.

Normally, raising Mengjiao is basically like a dragon that sees the beginning but not the end.

Now in the conference room, there are six cobweb managers including Liu Zhifan and Ma Chi.

"Zhifan, have the batch of grinding equipment arrived?" Ma Chi asked.

Liu Zhifan nodded: "When we arrived at Dawei Port, the installation and commissioning were completed within half a month. They are all professional equipment customized from China."

"I have also completed three test breeding ponds here. The current production status is good and meets the technical specifications." Ma Chi said while calling up the data from the biocomputer and projecting it on the [Cai Butterfly Screen].

The colorful butterfly screen posted on the wall of the conference room shows photos of the breeding pond.

The director of the craft department on the side took out several boxes containing recently produced glass products.

The proportion of products produced by the three breeding ponds is different according to the set genetic sequences.

They are: glass bottles, flat glass, tempered glass products.

Ma Chi explained: "Flat glass is the simplest to produce and the cultivation time is the shortest. This kind of glass is slightly harder than the flat glass on the market, and other physical and chemical properties are basically the same."

From a series of photos of the cultivation tank, everyone can see the entire cultivation process of flat glass.

Introduce the filtered seawater into the cultivation tank, and then add an appropriate amount of silica powder and other auxiliary materials (such as colorants, modifiers, clarifiers, etc.).

After all the raw materials are injected, the water temperature is maintained between 35.8 and 37.2 degrees Celsius. Finally, special hormones and nutrient solutions are added, and the glass sponge will quickly enter a growth state.

After 45 hours, the thickness of the glass at the bottom of the cultivation tank will reach 5 mm, and the raw materials will be almost exhausted, leaving only some waste liquid and living sponge cells.

Use a grabbing device to take out the glass and remove the sponge cells attached to the surface. A piece of flat glass with a length of 3 meters, a width of 5 mm and a thickness of 5 mm is completed.

As for the sponge cells in the culture tank, except for the mother matrix at the bottom, all remaining living cells are removed and used as raw materials for fermenting methane.

As for the waste liquid, it is actually seawater with relatively low nutrients and salt content, which can be discharged directly into the sea.

In fact, you can also directly use fresh water for production, but doing so will increase production costs. After all, fresh water is not as cheap as sea water, and using fresh water requires supplementing other elements, which will further increase costs.

However, the advantage of low-temperature glass technology is that the production cost is low enough.

Ma Chi continued: "According to the test results, the cost of low-temperature glass is mainly concentrated on nutrient solution, hormones and ground silica powder. The equipment cost is much lower than that of high-temperature glass."

"How much lower than high-temperature glass?" Liu Zhifan is very concerned about this issue.

"The cost is 85 to 96% lower, which means that in the early stage we can impact the glass market throughout Southeast Asia and South Asia with low prices."

Liu Zhifan wrote down these data: "What about glass bottles and tempered glass?"

"The cost of glass bottles of a specific shape will be higher than that of flat glass, while tempered glass requires secondary processing and raw materials need to be adjusted. The cost is about 50 to 60% of that of ordinary tempered glass." Ma Chi said familiarly.

Others also reported on the situation in their departments.

Because the production process of low-temperature glass and coral cement is different from traditional technology, it not only reduces energy consumption, but also results in a lot less production equipment required for the production line.

For example, a low-temperature glass production line only requires a cultivation tank, an injection machine, a grabber, a water pump, a filter tank, a water temperature regulator, a postpartum cell cleaning machine, a conveyor belt, a cutting workbench, as well as equipment for mining quartz stone and grinding equipment.

The production line of coral cement is similar.

Qingye Group has enclosed a piece of wasteland covering an area of 50,000 acres near Dawei Port, and has also obtained the mining rights for local quartzite mines and limestone mines.

A cement and glass production base will be established here, and at the same time, the transportation convenience of Dawei Port will be used to export glass products to South Asia and Southeast Asia.

However, Liu Zhifan understands that exporting foreign trade depends on cost performance and opportunities. Many companies have their own suppliers. It is impossible to change suppliers all at once just because Qingye Group's prices are low.

However, in the local market of Hongsawady, those small glass factories are definitely no match for Qingye Group.

But he didn't want to just rely on glass and cement. After listening to everyone's situation, Liu Zhifan came up with a plan of his own: "I plan to enter the beverage industry, and the FMCG industry will be even better."

"FMCG? Beverages?" Ma Chi frowned. He really didn't know much about this aspect.

Liu Zhifan reminded with a smile: "We have an advantage that other beverage companies do not have, a huge advantage."

"Glass bottle?" Ma Chi reacted.

"Yes, it is glass bottles. Do you know why glass bottles will be eliminated by plastic bottles? Because of the difference in production costs, glass bottles are heavier than plastic bottles and are easier to break, but the key is cost."

Liu Zhifan pulled out a piece of information and put it on the screen.

"This is the cost difference between glass bottles and plastic bottles. Although glass bottles can be recycled and reused to reduce some costs, the cost of traditional glass bottles is still high."

He called up another piece of information: "This is the current packaging cost on the market. Whether it is plastic bottles or Tetra Pak, the cost is not low."

"It's really not low." Ma Chi also discovered for the first time that the packaging cost of a box of milk actually accounts for about 20 to 30% of the sales price.

Liu Zhifan said confidently: "The production cost of our glass bottles is much lower than that of plastic bottles. Even if we sell mineral water, we can kill other companies."

"Selling mineral water?" The Minister of the Technology Department calculated it and found that the mineral water process is not difficult. They only need to import a set of water treatment equipment and a tinplate bottle cap production line to basically set up a mineral water production line.

When the time comes, they will first fight a price war to kill their counterparts in Hongsawady. Then, relying on their technology and price advantages to enter the entire Southeast Asian market, they can completely dominate the beverage industry.

Soon Ma Chi and others agreed with Liu Zhifan's beverage strategy.

They will organize these things and report to the headquarters regularly.
