Game of Thrones: I loaded the Witcher system

Chapter 15 Imprisonment and Assassination

No matter how beautiful a woman is, when she screams, she is just ugly, more like a degraded monkey.

The artificial scream was interrupted by Robert's roar:

"Shut up, woman!"

Queen Cersei stopped screaming and glanced at her husband coldly, with an imperceptible resentment and disgust flashing in her eyes. She said coldly:

"Your Majesty, the Stark family has trampled on the rights of guests, they should be cursed!"

The Queen's summary was obviously very good, and she was very good at focusing on the key points, but this was a crime that no one could afford, and it was impossible to be convicted.

The inexplicable Duke Stark was stunned for a moment, and just as he was about to say something, Robert slapped Cersei, making Cersei stagger. He didn't care what this slap would do to other people about the royal couple.

"Don't talk about guest rights, Tywin didn't teach you how to speak, did he?!"

The king wanted to rant, but Lord Eddard stopped him.

"There is no need for this, Your Majesty." He glanced at the stunned royal guards, and finally someone reacted and helped the queen, who was covering her face.

Robert no longer wanted to stay here, but Cersei blocked him, her green eyes flashing with anger.

"Your Majesty, my father will never allow a Lannister to be killed without the murderer being unharmed!"

"Don't use that old lion Tywin to hold me down!" The king shouted angrily, glanced at Clay, who was standing there silently, and ordered irritably: "Then lock him up until I leave. Remember I want him alive, Ned, you’re in charge, that’s it!”

The king gave the order, and no one could raise any objection. The king's fat body disappeared. The queen sneered and left with her guards. She never looked at Clay again from the beginning to the end.

Everyone's eyes focused on Duke Ed who stayed behind. His face was ugly and serious. He sighed in a low voice and walked to Clay:

"Boy, you don't have to kill him."

"No need to be embarrassed, Your Majesty Duke, just do what you have to do."

"Lannister doesn't follow the rules."

"Please don't worry, sir, they can't kill me."

Looking at Clay with a grin on his face, Ed Stark didn't know where he got his confidence, but he had no other choice at this point.

The Duke of Winterfell felt deeply helpless. He could not protect his vassals, even on his own territory, so he became even more disgusted with the Lannister family.

He ordered Sir Roderick to take Clay to the dungeon and take good care of him. At the same time, he had Vera and everyone in White Harbor brought into the main castle. That was where he truly belonged in this vast northern territory.

He specifically told Sir Roderick to personally inspect every meal of Clay and send someone to guard it day and night.

After two lifetimes, this was Clay's first time in prison. To be honest, it was not much different from what he imagined.

Although he is a noble and the jailer of the Stark family prison also sympathizes with and supports Clay, a prison is a prison. Clay was taken to a slightly larger dark room by Sir Roderick.

"You just stay here, this is already the best cell in Winterfell, you damn Lannister." Roderick didn't forget to curse, and then carefully told some details about the prison.

He can't always be here. Clay has to make his own judgment when it comes to things.

Clay carefully noted down what Ser Roderick said. Even though he was a witcher, he could not be poisoned by witcher potions, let alone ordinary poisons. Even if Lannister wanted to assassinate him, he probably would not use the Power of Lys. To put it bluntly, Clay is not worthy of a high-end product like Tears.

If the assassin came directly, Clay wouldn't be afraid. Although his sword, the tool for committing the crime, was taken away, Sir Roderick gave him a dagger.

As long as he didn't use a crossbow or pitchfork, Clay thought he should be fine.

And all of this is based on the fact that Cersei, that woman, will really send someone to kill her.

Clay feels that Cersei is not that stupid. Although she is not very smart, she wants to do such an obvious thing again. Clay can't figure out how she slept with Jaime for so many years. Robert just didn't notice at all. of.

Clay spent two days quietly in the cell. The next night, while lying on the bed and dozing off, Clay suddenly heard the faint sound of footsteps coming from the door.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer. Although they were already very light, under the detection of Clay Demon Hunter's senses, they sounded like they were walking in goose steps.

Clay woke up instantly, but he did not move. He lay on his side on the bed, squinting his eyes in the darkness and staring at the door.

Not long after, a thin figure dressed in black quietly opened the door in the flickering candlelight. Clay recognized the key. It should be on the jailer's waist. If the jailer of the Stark family did not rebel, then He was probably unconscious by now.

He really came to assassinate her. How did Cersei’s brain grow? At this level?

When Clay saw the assassin preparing to get close to kill him, he felt relieved, but at the same time countless question marks emerged.

Wait, what if this assassin isn't a Lannister?

Thoughts were like lightning, and Clay instantly gave up his plan to kill violently. This was when he heard the assassin's whisper:

"Lord Clay, Lannister sends greetings!" A voice broke through the air, and Clay suddenly rolled to the side, avoiding the fatal knife.

The assassin was stunned for a moment. He didn't expect that the sure-shot sword hit was empty, and Clay actually dodged it!

There was no extra time to be stunned. The mission he received was that Clay must die, so he immediately mentioned that he was going to chase Clay. As soon as he raised his head, a palm was handed to him.

It is a strange gesture with the thumbs spread apart, the index and middle fingers together, and the ring and little fingers bent.

In a daze, the assassin seemed to see a light green inverted triangle flash past.

"Axxi," Kramer read.

The assassin's blade that was about to cut suddenly stopped in mid-air. His dark yellow pupils were dilated and his eyes were empty. He stood there without saying a word, like a zombie.

Fortunately, it worked. Clay was actually ready to swing the dagger immediately if Axi didn't work.

The reason why he did this without killing him directly with a dagger was because Clay suddenly thought of a possibility:

When he was assassinated, almost everyone thought it was a Lannister who did it. What if someone wanted everyone to think so?

It's not impossible to kill him on Stark's territory and blame Lannister.

Clay leaned against the wall and asked:

"your name?"

"Hall Leeko."

Clay couldn't remember who this person was, maybe he was just a minor character.

"Who sent you here?"

This question seemed to cause the assassin great pain, and his facial features under the black cloth were twisted together, but in the end he still could not resist the magic power of Axi.

Then, Clay heard a name:

Petyr Baelish!

The handling of the assassin in the next two chapters may surprise everyone (if not, thank you readers), please be more patient. I have a key point to use in the subsequent wars about this character, so I may not be able to write it for the time being. It’s so clear, it will be explained clearly later.
