American fame and fortune

Chapter 45 The Real Audition

In the living room of the hotel suite, Louise stuffed her hands into the pockets of her cropped trousers, leaned against the bar, and watched Martin shake the cocktail shaker diagonally across.

Before Martin came over, he deliberately changed into a fitted V-neck T-shirt, and his muscular figure outlined a perfect line.

Kelly sat on a high stool with her arms folded, feeling that Martin's bartending movements and gestures were more artistic than those at the House of the Beast.

Martin took out the chilled wine glass and poured the wine, and folded a delicate paper airplane on the clip of the cup as a decoration: "Paper airplane, please taste."

Louise stared at the orange-red translucent wine, picked it up and took a sip carefully. It was elegant, delicate, soft and refreshing.

It was a drink she had never tasted before, a brand new cocktail.

This glass of wine alone is worth tonight.

Martin did not ignore Kelly, and made a cup of caipirinha with cachaca wine as the base drink and brought it over: "Kelly, this is yours."

"Sweet taste suits me better." Kelly took a sip.

After taking her second sip, Louise thought about it carefully, then suddenly put down the cold wine glass, took a paper towel to wipe off the water mist on her hands, and stretched out her right hand towards the bar: "Let's get to know each other formally, Louise-Meyer, from Los Angeles."

This is completely different from Kelly's introduction to the two. Martin also wiped his hands and shook her hand lightly: "Martin Davis, a bartender and actor."

"This is a glass of wine that can be recorded in the history of cocktails." Louise drank the remaining orange liquor in one gulp: "Martin, you are a genius."

Martin said deliberately: "I have tried countless recipes, and my luck is not bad."

Louise was thoughtful: "So, is there another formula? Is there a stronger one?"

"Spirits?" Martin confirmed.

Louise tilted her head and looked at Martin: "Spirit is the most satisfying."

"It may not be to your taste." Martin changed a new shaker, poured the sorghum red he brought, added Dongting wine and crushed ice, shook it evenly, poured it into a chilled glass, and then put in fresh orange piece.

He handed it to Louise: "Welcome to Atlanta."

"It's called welcome?" Louise picked up the glass. The wine was full-bodied, smooth and sweet, and she had never drunk it before.

She is an old alcoholic, and she can tell that the alcohol content is extremely high, and when she swallows it, her blue eyes are instantly brightened, as if water seeps out: "The taste is a bit strange, but it is still a good glass of wine."

Martin nodded slightly: "Thank you, it has been approved by the first customer."

Louise is very interested in wine: "It's an honor to be its first customer." Her alcohol addiction broke out: "Anything else?"

Of course, Martin had other things, but he didn't say that: "Recently, I'm blending a new wine, but it hasn't been successful yet."

Louise's expression remained the same after drinking the alcohol: "We can discuss wine when we have time."

Martin's brain reacted very quickly: "Every time a new cocktail comes out, there are always countless recipes to try. It is difficult to do it alone. If Louise has time, let's try it together."

Louise leaned against the bar with half of her body, her undulating body twisted into exaggerated curves, and looked at Martin with interest: "You have a lot of ideas, are you willing?"

Martin understood: "Not yet."

He couldn't ignore Kelly and asked, "Listen to Andrew, "People from the City" is playing tonight?"

Kelly put down her wine glass: "The second cable station is still at that time."

"Series? Movie? Your company's work?" Louise, a drunkard, picked up Kelly's wine glass, drank it in one gulp, and frowned: "This is a drink, not like wine."

Martin brought a bottle of strong Macallan whiskey and poured it into three new glasses.

Kelly was talking about the movie: "Martin is a supporting actor in a late-night movie I invested in." She suddenly remembered the dailies she had seen: "He was very good."

"Really?" Louise was surprised, and asked Martin: "Where did you learn this? Bartending, acting, and the ability to make people know that you are pleasing and still feel comfortable in your heart are not something a poor boy in a slum can learn. "

Martin was not surprised. With his thick skin, he would not be shy. He said frankly: "My father, Jack Davis, is the most versatile man in Atlanta."

Kelly said, "I've never heard of it."

Louise no longer explored, but raised her wine glass: "I respect my life and I am the master."

Both Martin and Kelly held up their glasses, and the three of them clinked gently to finish off the glass of whiskey.

Louise took the bottle and poured the wine: "To this wonderful night."

Before the late-night show started, the three drank a bottle of whiskey.

Martin went to get the wine again.

Kelly wobbled and walked this way: "No, I can't drink any more."

"It's a wonderful night, how can there be no good wine?" Louise grabbed Kelly, and the two female alcoholics fell on the sofa.

The latter was pillowed on the former's chest, as soft as if trapped in cotton wool, and murmured comfortably: "Where's the remote control? It's about to start."

Martin brought the wine and poured it again.

Two female alcoholics in their early thirties, plus a 22-year-old male alcoholic, continued to drink freely.

Martin lay crookedly on the single sofa, and raised his glass to Louise: "How the director arranges, I will do."

Louise moved her hands back and took out a pink water bottle from the inside of the couch. The mouth of the water bottle was stuffed next to Kelly's mouth. Kelly opened her mouth and bit the straw, sucking water vigorously.

She asked, "I heard that you are a prototype?"

Martin had already prepared: "It's a little exaggerated."

Louise beckoned: "Come here, come here, it's still early tonight, sit next to me, let's drink slowly."

Martin went over with the wine bottle, and just as he sat down, two different hands stretched out one after another.

No special circumstances and nonsense, just auditions.

…………

When Martin woke up the next morning, Kelly Gray was about to go out.

She said nothing different: "I ordered breakfast for you."

Martin waved to her, got up from the carpet, and went to open the window: "It smells so strong."

Louise took out her personal business card and put it on the coffee table: "When will your new cocktail be adjusted, call me." She glanced at Martin: "If you want to be a star, this is a required course."

Martin's previous life has been drifting for so many years, and he has seen more messy things, and Hollywood will only become more chaotic.

"I don't think it's right, I should be auditioning for you." He sat on the sofa, and the words he said were particularly pleasant: "Young, sexy, beautiful, and elegant beauties, in order to get support for the film project, they are willing to sacrifice their lives. Feed the pervert."

Louise laughed happily, so she got up and went to the study, and quickly took out a text and put it together with the business card: "I have the right to make decisions about this small character, take it back and study it carefully, although last night After passing the audition, but Hollywood is not the same as before, and the audition room routine still has to go."

She stopped laughing, and warned solemnly: "The performance in the audition room is too bad, don't blame me for being ungrateful."

"I know the importance." Martin collected everything, and said in a different way: "Does the crew need extras? The community theater troupe I am in has low fees, is very professional, and can endure hardship."

Louise nodded: "During the audition, you bring the person in charge here."

It is confirmed that it will be on the shelves on April 1st, and there will be a lottery draw for the first order and a gift from the leader. Long Xiang posted a detailed explanation in the comment area. If you are interested, you can go and have a look.
