American fame and fortune

Chapter 15 Why Humanity Extinct

In the classroom of the training center of the Methodist Association, Elena flipped through the training materials issued by the teacher. She knew individual letters and most of the words. When they were combined into sentences, she couldn't understand what they meant.

The computer software operation explained by the teacher on the podium is similar to the heavenly book.

This is a free skill training provided to believers in cooperation between the Methodist Church and the Methodist Association.

Because the free food was distributed at the end of the training, Elena held back even though she was drowsy.

There's enough food for breakfast tomorrow, and you'll save at least $6 including Martin's idiot.

Harris wants to apply for university, even if he goes to a cheap public school, the cost will be a lot.

The complexity of these troubles made Elena's head explode.

After finally surviving the training, Juliet at the next table asked, "Would you like to participate in the mutual aid meeting tomorrow afternoon?"

"I haven't figured it out yet." Even Elena's face was thicker than the wall, she still felt ridiculous.

Juliet was very enthusiastic: "Go, let's go together. Ms. Jennifer will host tomorrow afternoon and bring gifts."

Hearing the gift, Elena restrained the swear words from her mouth and said, "I'll think about it again, and I'll give you an answer tomorrow morning."

There is a mutual aid meeting hosted by the Methodist Association every week.

After Elena received the food, she came out of the training center. The headlights of the Ford car flashed continuously, illuminating the night, and she ran to the co-pilot.

Martin started the car and turned his head to take a look: "There are a lot of good things."

"Of course!" Elena put two large paper bags on the back seat: "Whoever doesn't send out things will listen to these idiot courses."

Martin said from the side: "Learn more skills and find a stable job."

"I just want to make money," Elena said.

Martin knew about her family's situation and said, "I took a job from my boss, and I need help. If you do a good job, you'll be paid at least $500."

This is included in the club's separate calculation of expenses.

Elena thought about last time: "Another arm, stupid Harris? I'm fine."

"You don't need to be so cruel." Martin said roughly, "Are you familiar with the Methodists?"

Elena shrugged: "Fortunately, they are all extremely conservative people who can talk."

She remembered what Juliet said: "Tomorrow, the Methodist church will have a mutual aid meeting. It is said that an important person named Jennifer will host it and bring gifts. I hope it's not the paper cranes and lucky stars."

Martin thought about it for a while: "Will you accept the job? If you accept it, go to participate tomorrow."

Elena asked back: "You put me in that event?"

Martin laughed and said, "Go ahead and do me a favor. Contact more people and invite them to the club for free to drink and have fun..."

Elena said: "I will call Monica, there will be free meals and night shows, no need to mobilize."

Ford drove into the Clayton neighborhood and Martin drove into the backyard of the house and stopped where James was buried.

The wheels compact the ground.

James didn't have any objection, which shows that the two did the right thing.

…………

Near noon, Bruce parked the pickup truck, carried a large pile of newspapers and materials, and entered the Beast House.

Except for Ivan the idiot on the porch, there was only that idiot Martin in the club.

Bruce put things on the ring stage and asked, "Why can you direct me to do things?"

Martin threw him a can of beer, opened another himself, and said, "That's the difference between a wise man and a civilized man."

Bruce sat on the stage: "They're all betting on how long you'll be on this stage."

Martin bragged: "I danced terribly, did a backflip, and the earth exploded in place, killing humanity."

Bruce drank all the beer, and threw the can into the trash can accurately: "I discovered for the first time that people can be as shameless as you are."

"Because you are too ignorant." Martin also threw away the can, and brought two sets of pens and notebooks, one of which was given to Bruce: "Stop rambling, and do as Boss Martin tells you."

He took a bunch of newspapers and magazines: "Atlanta's main print media, radio and TV stations all have news hotlines, and they collect news with prizes. Write down all the corresponding media phone calls. Boss Martin will help you make a fortune."

"We can't break the law, we are civilized people!" Bruce complained, but his hands were not slow, and he hurried to work.

…………

Northwest of the Atlanta metropolitan area, bordering Marietta.

Elena joined Juliet and entered the branch of the Methodist Church.

In the large conference room, seven or eight people sat on chairs and formed a large circle.

Jennifer, who was dressed conservatively, beckoned the two of them to come and sit down.

A few minutes later, five more people rushed to the conference room.

Jennifer hosted the chastity mutual aid meeting, and said loudly: "You are willing to purify your body and mind, and become the glory and pride of the family. I am proud of you!"

She looked around: "So who to start with?"

A girl in her twenties was the first to stand up and tell her story.

Juliet followed, and as she sat down, she gave Elena a wink.

Elena was doing mental construction, avoiding habitual swearing, stood up slowly, and said in the eyes of everyone encouraging: "I want to talk about a painful experience, it haunts me like a nightmare, I hope you can help me Help me purify this unclean memory."

Jennifer smiled warmly: "My child, please speak out boldly."

Elena tried her best to practice with Martin, wide-eyed and frightened: "One night last weekend, my friends and I strayed into a bar called Beast's House on Saijo Avenue. Everything there was crazy..."

She racked her brains to describe the depravity of the House of the Beast and the negative impact it had on those around her.

At some point, Jennifer took out a pen and notebook and asked, "Saijo Avenue? House of the Beast?"

Elena said, "Yes."
