Of course, compared to the F110 as the core machine, it is better, and the AL31F as a reference for details has many defects.

For example, surge occurs at low altitude and high surface speed. This problem also made the turbofan ten originally developed in China unable to be installed and used at all.

Surge mostly comes from the poor flow state of the incoming flow introduced by the engine (such as uneven static pressure caused by the boundary layer, or the wake of the front machine is sucked into the intake port, etc.) or the stall of the compressor blades caused by blade resonance.

The projects handed over to the Rocket Research Institute are mainly materials.

After all, although they are all engines, the structural gap between liquid rocket engines and aero engines is still relatively large.

Most liquid rocket engines do not work for a long time, while aero engines require at least a few hundred hours of service life.

Therefore, the first WS-10 sub-project received by the Rocket Research Institute is the development of engine tail nozzle materials.

Although the internal differences between the liquid rocket engine and the aero engine are not small, the material requirements for the tail nozzle are basically the same.

It must have the performance of high temperature resistance and high impact resistance.

It's just that the requirements for temperature and impact strength are not the same.

The temperature requirements of rocket engines are higher, basically above 3,000 degrees, and the requirements of aero engines are slightly lower, basically within 2,000 degrees.

However, the service life requirements of aero-engines are higher.
